Old Songs, Inc. is a not-for-profit, educational, tax-exempt
organization dedicated to preserving traditional music and dance. They are centered in Guilderland, New York, a
suburb of Albany, the capital of New York State. Since its incorporation in 1977, Old Songs has met this mission
by presenting concerts, dances, instrument classes, and the annual Old Songs Festival of Traditional Music and
Dance. A working board of directors, a year-round office, and volunteer and business support underpin the effort.
Our programs reach more than 12,000 people each year, inspiring them, it is hoped, to incorporate music or dance
or storytelling into their lives.
